Here’s another fabulous family I photographed last fall! There are three things you need to know about the Morris family: 1) They are huge Oregon Duck fans, 2) their daughter “E” was recently adopted from the country of Ethiopia, and 3) she has her two brothers pretty much wrapped around her finger. Can you blame them with that smile? As you can see, there was tree climbing, lots of laughter, and a (probably illegal, but we’ll let it slide) scaling of a monument. In other words, more fun than your average, everyday photo shoot. Those are the best!
The Morris Family
September 10th, 2011The Angier Family
September 10th, 2011Catching up on some blogging tonight… I had the great privilege of shooting this large extended family in the halls of our church here in Portland. I rarely do indoor shoots, but found this to be a fun challenge with good friends who are patient with the photographer.
We had fun with kids (who aren’t really kids anymore!) in some fun poses and I’m glad I could help them create some new memories for their walls. Enjoy!
The Bieberdorf Family!
July 26th, 2011Let me introduce you to a fun family – The Bieberdorfs! The first few images you see here are from a session last winter for little Ella’s newborn portraits and some fun shots of proud big brother, Drew. We had such a great time with those that they graciously asked me to do some family portraits this spring. How could I resist? Enjoy these images of this wonderful family!
Matt = Senior 2011!
July 24th, 2011As you can see from these images below, Matt is a Blazer fan and a great golfer! Matt was a teammate of the previously blogged Jordan on the state runner-up golf team from Westside Christian High School (www.wchsonline.org) and an all-around great guy. From the Rose Garden Arena to the Wildwood Golf Course, I had a blast taking these images and I think Matt had a good time too. Congratulations Matt and best of luck next year!
Aaron = Senior 2011!
July 24th, 2011As the Senior season for the Class of 2012 starts to heat up this summer, it’s been a lot of fun blogging and remembering my great Senior shoots from this past year! One of my favorite and more unique shoots was with Aaron, as we shot on his family’s farm out on Sauvie Island. The truck you see in these images is a 1950 Chevy and a rebuilding project for him and his dad. I love the color of these shots and Aaron was a lot of fun to work with. Congratulations Aaron, and have fun in college!
Jordan = Senior 2011!
July 2nd, 2011Jordan just graduated from Westside Christian High School and was a member of their State-runner-up Golf Team. This summer, Jordan has been busy organizing a golf tournament for charity and working as a firefighter with a forestry service company. Now, while all of my Senior sessions are certainly unique, Jordan’s session was truly one-of-a-kind. We had a fun day mixed with golf, finicky weather, abandoned farms, getting run off of the aforementioned abandoned farm, and finishing the session in the rain. All in all, we had a blast and I think you can see that reflected in these images.
Congratulations Jordan on a great Senior year!
Spencer = Senior 2011!
July 1st, 2011As I catch up on my blogging, I wanted to share yet another great Senior client of mine. His name is Spencer and he just graduated from Banks High School. A good number of the images you see here were taken on their property where the family also provides boarding for dogs – including my Boomer! Boomer, my black lab, loves to stay with Spencer and his family when we go out of town and, as you can probably tell, he has a lot of room to run. We used that room to the full extent, as we took photos all over the property (as well as in the town of Banks) and these are some of my favorites from the day.
Congratulations Spencer, on an awesome Senior year and we hope you have a wonderful summer!
John + Kristen = Married!
June 29th, 2011How far behind am I on blogging? Well, this wonderful couple was married early last Fall and just celebrated the birth of their son (my handsome nephew!), Hunter, in the last few weeks. He is one beautiful baby! I’m anxious for him to visit soon for baby pictures.
John and Kristen chose to have a fun, sunny, warm outdoor wedding in Las Vegas and the whole family was invited. I was the designated “second shooter” for the day, as I also served as Best Man and had my hands full pulling double-duty. I wouldn’t have it any other way though, and had so much fun capturing these images of their one-of-a-kind special day!
Brittany = Senior 2011!
May 6th, 2011Brittany is one of my AWESOME Senior clients from the Class of 2011 and is getting ready to graduate from Century High School! She loves music and is heavily involved in choir at school. She had a great idea that we should take a few shots by the Arts Center in Hillsboro and some of those shots turned out to be some of my personal favorites from the session. I LOVE it when we can inject a little of the Senior’s personality and passion into the photo session. My favorite part? She brought her sweet grandmother to the session! We even got a shot of her and Brittany together that you can see in the slideshow.
Congratulations Brittany and have a rockin’ rest of your Senior year!
Don’t forget the slideshow!
Jack = Senior 2011!
March 9th, 2011Congratulations to Jack – Senior at Westview High and all-around cool guy. We had a lot of fun strolling around Commonwealth Lake and various west Portland spots for photos. Jack is on the basketball team at Westview, and as I type this, they are getting ready for state playoffs tonight at the Rose Garden! Go Wildcats!
As always, don’t forget the slideshow to see the rest of Jack’s pics!
